Sängerbote: A Mueller Family Index

Adelheid Dorothea Katarina Rickmeyer (Frau Erica) was a promising 22-year-old poet when she emigrated to America in 1867 and married Wilhelm E.P. Mueller. Writing continued to be an important family enterprise. Frau Erica, her daughter Dora, her son Ernst, and her nephew Friedrich (Dora’s husband) contributed 50 works, from short poems to longer essays, to the Sängerbote. Mueller works appeared in 14 of the 20 quarterly Sängerbote issues in the hardbound five-year compilation [1913-1917). All their submissions were in German. English translations, when available, are linked.
